NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON A SIX-MONTH MORATORIUM ON ELECTRONIC & INTERNET GAMING SITES
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of the Town of Cedar Point will conduct a public hearing on Monday, July 12, 2010, at 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, at Cedar Point Town Hall, 427 Sherwood Avenue, Cedar Point to hear comments on a proposed six-month moratorium on electronic and Internet gaming sites. A temporary moratorium will allow the Town time to investigate the Town’s ability to regulate such businesses, and to develop and implement any appropriate regulations with respect to electronic and internet gaming sites. Following the public hearing, the Board will consider adoption of a moratorium ordinance. Citizens are invited to attend the meeting.

Barta Boys and Girls Club Billfish Tournament |

Headquartered at the Beaufort Town Docks in downtown Beaufort legendary outdoorsman Tred Barta holds his 6th Annual Billfish Release Only Tournament which also includes game fish (Tuna, Dolphin, Wahoo and King Mackerel).
Over 200 trophies are given out for Billfish Releases and game fish weighed in. Weigh In is from 4-6pm Friday & Sat. 100% of the proceeds go to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Coastal Carolina.
