Gary was born in Guilford County, NC and moved to Swansboro in 1987.  In 1997, Gary built his home in Cedar Point in the Magens Bay subdivision where he resides with his wife, Michelle. Gary has three daughters and six grandchildren.                                            

Since 1987, Gary has worked in and assisted in building the family business, Bray Trailers Inc. Bray Trailers provides large storage containers onsite for residential or commercial use.  Gary enjoys cooking, hunting, golfing, boating and spending as much time as he can with his beloved wife, family and dogs.

He currently serves as Mayor Pro Tem.
